We came here for dinner for three with a baby. Wish there were more TVs in the brewery but otherwise the food was great and the beer selection was NOT bad. Love the selections for sour beers! Service was not too bad since you can basically order on your phone. But there are servers that go around to check in on you. Water is self serve of course. Ambiance was good. The outdoor area is awesome and huge. We didn't sit there but for the brewery itself it was very nice!
The other night we went and met some friends. This was the perfect place to catch up and have some food and drinks. I got the Caesar salad and an 805 smash burger with garlic parmesan fries. Everything was yummy! I like that this place gives you an option for everyone to place an order individually using the QR code which makes ordering fast and you can pay your own bill without having to figure out who owes what. If you want to order more items then you just place another order through your mobile phone. Don't worry, the staff does come around to check on you so you are not completely deserted. They're awesome! This place is pretty busy at night. The parking lot is small so you might have to find street parking.
FANTASTIC service and even more FANTASTIC food! Don't judge me, but..... I liked the food more than the beer! Great indoor and outdoor seating!
Great food, great beer, great location with parking! Service was excellent and the ambiance was microbrewery meets sports bar. Indoor and outdoor dining! Burger and fries were outstanding!!!! So was the Chicken Sandwich!!!
I visited on a weekday night for a school event, and it was fantastic! The appetizers provided were absolutely delicious--especially the ahi wonton tacos, which were the highlight for me. They were so flavorful and perfectly prepared. I also tried a fruity seltzer that was delightful (wish I could remember the name!). This was my second time here, and both visits have been equally impressive. The food and service are consistently excellent. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Do That Thing You Brew We stopped in here on a whim after a harrowing experience meandering thru LA's Skid Row--thanks Waze! -_- After narrowly escaping what surely must be a glimpse into the zombie apocalypse, I needed a drink--or seven! Fortune smiled favorably upon us that day, as we stumbled upon this Firestone Walker. We'd been to--and loved--the original Paso location, so it was nice to check out a different spot. Even if it was just for a cuppa pints. The Good: *Huge dog-friendly outdoor space *QR Code ordering and paying *Hostess was especially friendly, which is rare, and the waitstaff were affable and efficient. *For being smaller than the original, they still had quite a few FW beers on-tap, as well as stuff that's exclusive to that location. *Nice selection of wood barrel-aged beers, which are muh fayyyvvoritttteeee! Yeeeaaaahhhh! The Meh: *It's located along the main drag, so you'll get a lot of road noise outside. The Ugly: *Some street parking but there's also a small lot in the back in an alley (it's not as insidious as it sounds). Conclusion: Great beers and friendly service--what more does one really need? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've slurped my way through a sea of swill, but Firestone Brewing Co. is an oasis in the desert. Their flight, a motley crew of brews, offered a sensory journey, from the tart, playful Hot Girl Food to the dark, brooding Waking The Fallen. The fish tacos, a surprising twist, paired beautifully with the lighter beers. But it was the triumvirate of Into the Blue, UDBA, and Hot Girl Food that truly captivated my palate. A symphony of hops and malt, a dance of bitterness and sweetness. Waking The Fallen and Dog Club, while not quite reaching the heights of their brethren, were still solid contenders, offering a satisfying drinking experience. The Tuesday night trivia vibe was electric, a missed opportunity for us, but a testament to the brewery's lively atmosphere. The staff, a knowledgeable and friendly bunch, added to the overall experience. They were attentive without being intrusive, a delicate balance often lost on less experienced establishments. In short, Firestone Brewing Co. is a must-visit for any beer aficionado. It's a place where the art of brewing is elevated to a fine art. I'll be back, and I suggest you do the same.
